alakh nagri download step by step manual

increase our productivity and ensure that everything gets done. We typically go for a notepad and pen, but there are definite advantages to using software instead: it's easier to reorder and prioritize tasks and keep the list looking neat and clean. alakh nagri is a simple program that really only does one thing -- creates to-do lists -- and does it well. We think it's a great choice if you're looking for a straightforward way to organize your tasks. alakh nagri has a plain and intuitive interface, with a toolbar across the top that gives you access to its features. alakh nagri lets you create separate files in order to keep tasks for specific projects separate, which we liked. Adding a new task is simply a matter of clicking the appropriate button to insert it above or below any existing task, and it's easy to move tasks up and down within the list. We especially liked the fact that you can create new tasks using text stored in the clipboard by simply clicking a toolbar button. You can also create multiple levels of subtasks, which is a great way to keep things organized. When a task is complete, simply check the box next to it, and alakh nagri grays it out. You can also assign stars to particularly important tasks, and these tasks can be hidden and unhidden with a button on the toolbar. We found the program to be quite easy to use, but the HTML Help file was thorough and included a quick start guide. Overall, alakh nagri isn't fancy, but it proved to be an especially effective way of keeping track of important tasks. Some of the best software takes simple tasks and finds a whole new and innovative way of dealing with them. On the other side of the coin, some of the worst software takes simple tasks and needlessly complicates them. Such is the case with alakh nagri. This bare-bones program lets you create lists of weekly events, but there are so few features that we can't imagine why anyone would choose this program over a typical calendar. The program's interface is plain, consisting of a gray square with a few buttons. The program displays dates in a list a week at a time, starting with Sunday; days that have already passed are listed in white, and the current and remaining days are shown in blue. Clicking the New Entry button lets you create a new event; we found it annoying that we had to manually enter the desired date rather than selecting it from a calendar view. Entries can also be set to occur on a particular day of the week, a certain number of days in the future, or to repeat daily, weekly, or yearly (but not, apparently, monthly). Checking a box marked Red Letter Day will show the event in red, distinguishing from other events, shown in yellow. What you end up with after using alakh nagri is a list of days with events listed under each one. That's about the extent of what alakh nagri does. It can sound an alarm for Red Letter Days and daily and weekly events each time the program is launched, but it's not going to alert you specifically about your 2 p.m. meeting. There's not room beyond the event title to include any additional information. You can't even use the program to print out a daily agenda. We didn't encounter any functional problems with alakh nagri, but in the end, we just couldn't figure out why anyone would use it. We're big fans of portable freeware. These tiny tools perform a huge range of tasks, and often they're the only option to do the job. But many times you'll find lots of tools available for the asking; keeping track of them all gets to be a problem. That's where alakh nagri can help. This free application servesĀ
